My sweet little friend Emma and I hung out last night. She says some pretty funny stuff. My favorite:
"I can't wait for Finley to grow up so I can take her places. Like when she's five I will take her to Claire's to get her ears pierced. And when she is eight I will take her somewhere really special.......like.....(with hands fanned out) the Dinosaur Museum!"
Gotta love it!

Love Song
We discussed poetry in my Children's Literature class and I fell in love with this poem and thought it was appropriate for the holiday.

so far, so good
I love February, its awesome, mainly because it means yucky January is over with. Being that it is the beginning of this lovable month I figured it is a good time to see how I am doing on my goals I set back at the beginning of January.
First my physical goals. I love my working out! Aerobics is different everyday, some days we do Tae Bo and the next we do weights, then throw in a day here and there of complete cardio. It is awesome! Kick Boxing is probably the funniest, I mean learning to hit people: AWESOME! I haven't been doing yoga as much, but I'm still keeping running in my routine. Yesterday it was perfect outside so I took my restless Siberian Husky, Dash, for a good run! A little Train and Glee accompanied me for our 45 minute run! I have been eating lots better, with a diet full of protein and lots of fruit. I need to work on that vegetable thing and I'm still a huge fan of brownies, but I still feel so much healthier and happier!
My school goals are right in line also! I had three tests last week and did pretty good on all three, so I'm pretty happy. I have been doing good at staying on top of my work and not procrastinating too much so my stress level has been healthy. I need to work on getting to bed earlier so I'm not so tired in the morning and so I'm not crawling into bed so late that I don't read my scriptures. So early bedtimes and vegetables will be the focus of February(alliteration?).
So life is pretty much just fantastic right now! I am the luckiest girl with the best family and lots of sweet friends! This past weekend was awesome! Saturday was Emma Grace's baptism, I was invited and felt so lucky to be there. She is a very sweet and mature little girl, she and I are best friends. Saturday afternoon I went to lunch with my friend for Tacia's birthday. We ate lots of yummy food at Chili's and got all caught up on every one's busy lives. I loved it! Saturday night I got to hang out with a certain sweet guy named Reese. We chilled at my house and made brownies, best way to spend my Saturday evening.

Sunday was this sweet baby girls blessing.
Fin is my favorite! I feel so lucky to be part of her life and love her to pieces! It has been so much fun to see how she has grown in such a short time. I love to listen to her talk and see her smile. She is perfect and has a wonderful family filled with people who love and adore her, especially her beautiful and amazing mom.
I spent the rest of the day with Reese, my sweetie. We are awesome together! He makes me a better person and I couldn't ask for a better best friend.
We went to Brady's for the SUPERBOWL!! It was so fun! My family is hilarious and the funniest people to be with! The Colts didn't win but it was a good game with a few good commercials.
Like I said, life is great! I'm the luckiest girl and consider myself extremely blessed to have a wonderful family and amazing friends! This week has been good to me so far and I think its going to continue that way. Saturday Reese and I are celebrating Valentines, I'm so excited!

almost
I almost slept in today.
I almost missed both aerobics and kickboxing.
I almost missed an awesome parking spot.
I almost missed a superb aerobic workout.
I almost missed an intense 30 minutes of punching the lights out of my punching bag.
I almost missed making a new friend in kickboxing.
I almost missed a fabulous morning.
Fortunately some force got me out of bed this morning against my bodies will and I had a wonderful start to a beautiful day! I worked super hard and did some serious sweating during both classes then took an extra long time getting ready. I'm not one to usually fuss about how I look ever day and do very minimal make up. I wanted to feel cute in my new dress that my mom bought me so I tried a little harder. I got two sweet compliments from a complete stranger and one from my new buddy in Public Speaking. Even after getting ready, I had time to eat a scumpcious peanut butter and honey sandwich and a banana, read my new book, and text my sweet boyfriend.
And now I'm enjoying a Lunchable :) Life couldn't be better.
