I heart May

May is a good good month.
My favorite actually.
Spring is mixed with days of lingering winter and others with the warmth of summer.
There are many things to be celebrated this month.

May 2nd marked two years of dating this sweet guy.

May 5th was Little Miss Amy's 6-month Birthday!
She is so sweet and so smiley!
I can't believe how big and strong she is.
I sure do love her!

Also on May 5th, I signed my contract with the school district to be an Intern teacher for the 2011-2012 school year.
I can hardly explain the amount of emotions that come with this amazing opportunity.
I got to see my classroom for the first time on Monday and I love it. I can't wait to start getting ready this summer.

May 6th was the first day of classes for the Summer semester.
I am officially a Senior! Woo!
This is going to be a crazy busy semester, but I'm up for the challenge.

May 8th was Mother's Day!
I love my Mom and am so grateful for the friendship we have.

Mother's Day also meant getting to talk to a certain Elder Turner.
It was so good to hear his voice and know he is doing well.
He has been out almost 6-months and it's gone pretty fast.
I think being busy with school has really helped the time fly.

May 11th was Miss Ruby Rae's 6-month Birthday!
This little girl has the biggest blue eyes!
She is so funny and is great at giving kisses!
I love you Ruby!

I have also started another baby quilt. My good friend from school is having a boy so I couldn't wait to get to make a baby boy quilt. I like how it's looking so far.

And now back to some good ol' homework!

Natalie's attempt to tell a joke...

What did the farmer say when he lost his spaceship?

''I lost my spaceship.''
